The CCOO union has called several days of strike at Swissport, responsible of handling in several Spanish airports, because of the difficulties in arriving to a collective bargaining agreement, as reported by the majority union in the company.

 The strike will affect more than 2,000 workers at the Alicante-Elche, Almería, Málaga, Formentera, Jerez, Barcelona-El Prat airports and Barajas cargo terminal.

 The points of the pending negotiations to reach an agreement are a salary increase, jobs manteinment and other issues as fractional day and a programmed holiday Schedule. The union asks for a commitment of the company to close the deal.

 The strikes called in Alicante Airport are 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March and 12 to 17h April 6 at the same hours.
