There are some festivities and bridges that lend themselves to make a break. There are many European destinations that can be enjoyed on a few days, but on this occasion we have opted for a “winter” trip and we will visit the capital of Norway: Oslo.
It will seem to some that Oslo is a very cold destination and, despite the fact that winter temperatures are low, the weather is milder than we think. In addition, Oslo is a city very prepared for tourism in the coldest season of the year.
From Alicante airport, there are direct flights to this European destination. In addition, we have the chance to use the parking services at the airport in Alicante and the only thing that separates us from Oslo is about four hours by plane.
What to see in Oslo
In Oslo you can make the most of winter sports: skiing in the Oslo Winter Park, the main ski resort in the area; Ice skating on tracks such as Frogner or Spikersuppa; Or sled in Korketrekkeren. In addition, it is advisable to visit the Holmenkollen ski museum and the jumping trampoline tower, where you can enjoy spectacular views.
In spite of the cold, the more touristic points of Oslo are always a must visit. Some of them are Vigeland Sculpture Park, Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, Akershus Fortress, Viking Ship Museum, Norwegian Opera or Munch Museum. If you enjoy walking around the city, you can not miss Grünerløkka, a neighborhood with a lot of cultural life.
You´ll surely come full of energy at your return. An intense trip after which your car we´ll be waiting for you at the Alicante Airport Parking to drive you home.
